July 3, 2025 Terrain vs. Bugs: Why Killing Isn’t the First Step
Raise your hand if you’ve ever gone straight into a parasite cleanse, yeast protocol, or candida-killing spree, only to feel like you got run over by a truck. 😬
We’ve all been there, myself included. But here’s the truth: if the terrain is wrecked, killing bugs is the last thing you should be doing.
Bugs Thrive in Broken Terrain
Here’s the deal: your gut is like a garden. If the soil is dry, full of weeds, and stripped of nutrients, no amount of “weed killer” will give you vibrant plants.
Candida, parasites, bad bacteria, they’re opportunistic. They show up when your gut terrain is off balance. They thrive in the chaos. But the chaos isn’t caused by them alone. It’s caused by poor drainage, lack of nutrients, inflammation, stress, and toxic overload.
The Real First Step: Drainage
Before you throw oregano oil at the problem and end up curled on the bathroom floor with a Herxheimer reaction, ask yourself:
“Can my body even handle die-off right now?”
If your liver, lymph, and colon aren’t open and flowing, all those dead bugs you’re trying to kill are going to circulate through your body and make you feel worse. 🤢
That’s why drainage support like binders, minerals, regular bowel movements, and bile flow is step one.
Why “Killing” Can Backfire
If you start a kill protocol too early, here’s what might happen:
- Headaches, fatigue, nausea from toxin buildup
- Rashes or breakouts from lymphatic overload
- Mood crashes as your body gets overwhelmed
- Constipation or diarrhea (hello, gut chaos)
- Hormone issues from overloading your liver
This isn’t a healing crisis! It’s your body saying, “I wasn’t ready.”
Fix the Soil, Then Pull the Weeds
Want real results?
- Strengthen your terrain first: minerals, hydration, gut lining support
- Open your drainage pathways: liver, bile, lymph, colon
- Then. and only then, start killing gently
You’ll need binders on board to mop up what you release, movement to keep lymph flowing, and minerals to keep detox systems online.
This is the long game. And it works better than any quick cleanse you saw on TikTok.
Spiritual Parallel
Sometimes we want to “kill off” the bad stuff in our life without fixing the foundation. But just like Jesus told the parable of the seed falling on rocky soil, if the soil isn’t prepared, nothing good grows—even when the seed is perfect.
💛 In Case You Skimmed
- You don’t have a parasite problem. You have a terrain problem.
- Killing bugs before fixing the gut lining and drainage is a recipe for disaster.
- Start with minerals, hydration, liver and bile support.
- THEN gently kill and always bind.
